See the door sequence—not just a final state.
DCL. DOL. Gate. Interlock. Door Zone. One validated diagnostic picture.
The VI DLM interprets configured door and lock signals as deterministic states and event sequences, preserving technician-facing DLM-F diagnostics.
Door-state truth
The VI DLM uses DCL and DOL together rather than assuming a single limit proves physical door position.
| DCL | DOL | VI state |
|---|---|---|
| ON | OFF | Fully Open |
| ON | ON | Traveling |
| OFF | ON | Fully Closed |
| OFF | OFF | Invalid / discrepancy |
DLM-F001–F016
Conditions cover invalid door state, premature Gate/Interlock proving, limit changes outside Door Zone, DOL/DCL discrepancy, direction conflict and Gate/Interlock loss outside Door Zone.
A DLM code reports the condition VI observed. Field verification is still required before assigning a failed component.
One event can explain the next.
Example: DLM-F011 → DLM-F013.
The supported sequence can show Gate proving prematurely during closing, a reopening response, DOL breaking as reopening begins, then Gate remaining made at that transition. VI is designed to preserve that chronology.
Follow the door evidence through the sequence.
Website simulation only — it demonstrates VI diagnostic logic, not a live elevator.
DCL ON + DOL OFF corresponds to the VI Fully Open state.
Validated door state
DCL and DOL are evaluated together.
Gate, Interlock and Door Zone add operating context.
The mechanic verifies physical state before assigning a failed device.
