BUILT FOR THE EDGE

Intelligence where the equipment lives.

Industrial Edge Computing

Designed around industrial computing deployed close to elevator equipment.

Local Deterministic Processing

Core supervisory monitoring does not depend on an internet connection or cloud AI service.

Secure AI Integration

Supports appropriate edge, hybrid or cloud architectures without placing AI in the safety-control path.

Industrial Connectivity

Designed to integrate supervisory information from industrial controllers and equipment interfaces.

VI-10™

IN DEVELOPMENT
FROM ONE APPLICATION TO A PLATFORM

A roadmap built for expansion.

NOW

Brake Safety Intelligence

Independent supervisory brake monitoring and diagnostics.

NEXT

UCM Protection + Door & Safety Intelligence

Development of unintended-car-motion detection and protective response alongside expanded door, lock and equipment-state intelligence.

DEVELOPING

Equipment Health Intelligence

Operating patterns, event history and condition-based diagnostics.

FUTURE

Predictive Intelligence

Using accumulated equipment evidence to support maintenance planning and early investigation.

SAFETY BOUNDARY

Defined safety boundaries for each VI function.

Vertical Intelligence combines supervisory diagnostic applications with safety-function development such as UCM Protection. Supervisory applications do not replace code-required elevator safety devices. UCM Protection is intended to perform a defined protective function only after the final implementation satisfies the applicable code, testing, certification and listing requirements.

Where supervisory outputs are implemented, their application must be engineered, validated and installed appropriately for the specific elevator system and applicable requirements.

SmartAssist™ and other AI functionality are advisory and are not used as safety-control decision makers.
